February Wrap

On a ranting spree.

I'm here to rant; yes, the front-row seat is reserved for you. The second month of the year has passed, and I still haven't joined my mates to do the wrap-something, or is it called dump thingy? (See, I have yet to learn what it is called). I have not done my 6 pics-one-month challenge.

Don’t tell me that it’s still too early and I should not give up; I won’t listen to your unsolicited advice. Now, you think I’m rude, but that’s what ranting does. Actually, I’m a nice person with bags of apology; please, take one and remain comfortable on that front row.

Now, the reason for my rant.

Sasha, take a deep breath before you continue.

Thank you for that. Okayyyy, after another bland year of me going through the motions but avoiding the wave. I told my sisters that things need to change, and we need to go out there. You needed to see my serious face while I was saying that.

I said, “I'm really serious. We must go out at least 12 times this year, once a month.”

Did you just scoff? Don't look down at my plans; that's real big for a wallflower like me. Now, guess who is keeping to the plan? Definitely not me.

Don't worry, I'm not crying.

Moving on to other things (before I get too emotional), what do people even do in their monthly dump? Oh! They talk about their wins and not rant.

Sasha, focus.

But wait, before I focus, are we supposed to be doing dump? I thought we are all suffering, or am I missing a point?

Not to sound ungrateful, if I’m being sincere, last month went well for me, better than I envisaged. First off, I started my newsletter and it’s been a wonderful experience.

Tune it down, don’t be so loud.

Another thing to celebrate: I have been in a Cold War with reading. I became a chief ambassador of Reading slump this year, the heat finally melted most fragments of the slump, and I ended up reading  seven books last month (last year, I read 10 in February but we are not talking about the past past).

Anything else? Ashually, I’m done.

Did you just ask if these are my only wins for February? Ehn!
